I love writing about myself, hence this page. Or…well….not really. But I do undertand why you might be interested in learning about who’s behind what you’re reading. So, I tried to compile something resembling a description of yours truly.
I am a native of Norway, born in Oslo in 1983. Stayed there for 20 years, then moved to Trondheim, some 500 kilometers north to study. Afterwards, I ended up staying for a few more years. Whups.
I have a masters degree from NTNU, the Norwegian University of Technology and Science. Technically the programme is called Industrial Economics and Technology Management, but this is just a fancy way of saying “a little bit of both”. For my part, I dug down in computer science and entrepreneurship.
Today, I am a full-time web developer, working with anything from jQuery and CSS in the frontend, to PHP and database queries in the backend. After completing my studies, I worked a couple of years at Sportradar, a company delivering services to various betting businesses. In June 2010, I started working for ZXY Sport Tracking. We deliver world-class tracking solutions for team sports, and soccer in particular, and I get to play around with how to present the data we collect to our customers in the best way possible.
In my spare time, I am a volunteer for Trondheim Red Cross Search and Rescue, and work to improve my web development skills through my micro business E.Data Studios.
